Born and raised in Haiti, Manassé ELUSMA is currently a PhD student in climate change and sustainable development, with an emphasis on disaster governance and human security, at National Taiwan University (NTU). Prior to join National Taiwan University, ELUSMA has completed a master degree in environment and sustainable development at National Central University (Taiwan – China) and also has a bachelor degree in agricultural sciences at Université Quisqueya (Haiti). He has also taken several online courses for example “Disasters and Ecosystem: resilience in a changing climate” offered by the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP); “National Adaptation Plan: Building Resilience in Agriculture” offered by FAO….His key policy interests lie in disaster governance, climate change, vulnerability, resilience, farm systems, sustainable development.
