Jou, Sue-Ching
Sue-Ching Jou is a Professor of Geography and Join Professor of International Degree Program in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at National Taiwan University. She also serves as the Deputy Director of the Research Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Her major research interests are in urban studies, including political economy of urban development, urban and regional governance, and geographies of sustainable city governance. Her recent research projects focus on urban climate governance and participatory river governance. She has been devoted to interdisciplinary and entrepreneurship education for almost a decade. She just finishes leading a six-year national higher education initiative on smart living industry by adopting living lab and social innovation approaches.
